The Hawaii Lava Update is a collaboration between Paradise Helicopters pilots, guests, and professionals to bring you the most recent activity of the volcanoes found in Hawaii.  When possible, we fly professional photographers and videographers like Bruce Omori and Mick Kalber to capture high quality footage.  If you are a professional photographer or videographer and would like to reserve a doors-off charter flight out of Hilo, call Paradise Helicopters at (866) 876-7422.   When  we aren’t able to get them in the air, we have a few Go Pros that get video for us.  Whatever the source, we love sharing the power and incredible diversity of our volcanic home.  Check back often, because Pele is as unpredictable as she is beautiful!
